 February 20, 2014

Chileno Bay Club is a spectacular new community of private residences to be set on the most dramatic coastline in Los Cabos.  The 1,260 acre Chileno Bay Club boasts stunning natural beauty, 2 miles of coast and protected swimming beaches along the breathtaking Sea of Cortez.  Chileno Bay has an inviting, year-round climate ideal for outdoor recreation and snorkeling its coral reef and natural harbor.  The area is known for its world-class sport fishing and active, energetic social environment.

Behind Chileno Bay is Bald Mountain Development, additional funding has been raised  from the Mexican Equity Fund – Evercore.  Chris Snell is in charge of product development – he is super happy about this position and doing a great job.

The master planned community includes custom home sites and villas.  A 22 acre site for a Solage Resort by Auberge has been secured and will break ground in spring of 2014.  A private, Tom Fazio golf course is in place and is offering limited play to it’s founding members and guests.

The plans for the  private beach club , (including however not limited to spa, cinema and kids center)  are in process with Hart Howerton and ground breaking will take place this spring on the 2 acre beach club site.  The Chileno Bay amenities will include ocean and desert activities as well.  On site property management and concierge services will be available for worry free living.

The master plan is in final review for the entrance, streets, beach club and fitness center.

Chileno Bay is located on the ‘Golden Corridor’ ten minutes from Cabo San Lucas and 15 minutes from San Jose del Cabo.  It is a 25 minute drive from the San Jose del Cabo International Airport (SJD) and 25 minutes to the Cabo San Lucas Airfield (CSL) and only a 2 hour flight from southern California and most southern States.
